Palermo discovers  the new art. 814 artworks from all over the world, realized by seven hundred artists and showed to the sicilian public in different sections dedicated to landscapes, figures, sculpture, watercolors and informal, until the 3rd of February 2013.

Palermo is the protagonist of a unique cultural event, the 1st International Biennale of Art, opened by Vittorio Sgarbi the past 10th of January, day in which the expositive places opened their door to show us an artistic path that starts from the San Bartolomeo Lodge, to reach Malfitano-Whitaker Mansion, ending at the Civic Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art ''Giuseppe Sciortino'' of Monreale.

<<This is the perfect continuation for the work I've done for the Venice Biennale, realized to give prominence to several artists that have been hidden till now>>. Vittorio Sgarbi
